Fishing Pliers & Disgorger:
Using the jaws as a guide, follow the line down to the hook, and insert the top or bottom jaw through the bend in the hook. Remove the hook by grasping and/or disgorging actions. Use necessary twisting and push/pull actions to remove the hook.

Knot Tying:
The jaws may be used in creative ways to help tie knots between two line ends, or between a line and hook. Anchoring the hook onto the back loop and pulling on the line helps tighten knots.

Compliers® were tested on over 300 fish, consisting of bass, crappie, perch, and catfish. Their effectiveness is reported in the table shown below:
